Can PoppyDisk break my Windows install?
It is built not to. Protected locations (drive roots, the Windows and system directories, your user profile root) refuse the Cleanup Basket outright, enforced in the Rust engine, not the interface. Everything else passes a Deletion Review, and deletion goes to the Recycle Bin by default: the reversible path is the default path.
Does it phone home?
No. PoppyDisk makes no network connections. No telemetry, no account, no cloud: what is on your Drive stays on your machine.
Does it need administrator rights?
Not by default. Areas the app cannot read are counted separately and shown in purple as Restricted. To measure them, run an Elevated Rescan: explicit, and scoped to the location you asked about.
